There’s nothing quite like the sound of a Friday night stadium light buzzing to life, cleats digging into fresh chalk lines, and a crowd of parents holding their breath before the first snap of the season. As a Riverside family photographer (and go-to Hemet family photographer for a lot of the families in this league) who loves documenting real moments for real families across the Inland Empire, I had the honor of covering opening game day for the Inland Immortals Football & Cheer program out of Hemet — and I am still buzzing from it.
